The Dullstroom Dams are, historically, what made Dullstroom South Africa’s most popular fly-fishing destination. Being some of the larger fly-fishing waters in Mpumalanga, the beauty of the experience is the variety of environments in and around the dam. These include deep open waters, rocky cliffs, slowly and quickly deepening waters, reeded and clear embankments. This is also the reason regional, national and international trials and competitions are regularly held here.

Permits are available at reception and also at the guard-house of Oak Lane estate. Call 061 762 3209 for further info. The same permit is valid for both the bottom and top dam.
